| President Doug Haughton on behalf of the OII Board of Directors and OII Staff wish to welcome Lynda Atkinson, Quesnel, BC to the board as the newly appointed representative for Horse Council BC. Lynda replaces Ellen Hockley who recently retired from the OII board after serving 25 years, (since time of OII inception) as a Director and nine (9) years as President. President Haughton speaks for all past and present Directors in saying “ thank you once again to Ellen Hockley for her leadership, positive approach and genuine interest she brought to the board for so many years. Ellen’s knowledge of the livestock industry in BC has and will always be admired and appreciated. Her influence will be missed at future board meetings. We all wish Ellen nothing but the best.” |
